On Thursday, Björk announced a string of livestream performances from Björk Orchestral, as well as a series of dates for the critically-acclaimed production, Cornucopia.
The upcoming Björk Orchestral livestreams will feature four shows over five weeks, beginning on Monday, October 11th. The intimate tour featuring Björk’s orchestral arrangements will all take place at Reykjavik Concert Hall in Reykjavik, Iceland—the singer, songwriter, and artist’s hometown. All shows will see her arrangements played by members of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, flute septet Viibra, the Hamrahlid Choir, and special guests. Björk will donate a portion of the proceeds from these shows to women’s charities around the world.

Along with news of these orchestral livestreams, Björk also announced a stretch of shows for her Cornucopia production, which will take place in the United States starting early next year. Directed by Björk and Lucrecia Martel, along with co-creative director James Merry, Cornucopia features a stunning stage display of lights and graphics from stage designer Chiara Stephenson, and music based on Björk’s 2017 album, Utopia.
Originally premiering in 2019 at The Shed in New York City, Björk will bring the production to Los Angeles, CA’s Shrine Auditorium starting on January 26th. She will then continue at Shrine Auditorium on January 29th and February 1st before heading to Chase Center in San Francisco, CA for two shows on February 5th and February 8th to close out the tour.
