Irish rockers My Bloody Valentine have confirmed their first show in nearly five years. Pitchfork reports that the shoegaze pioneers will take the stage on Friday, August 17 at Japan’s Sonicmania festival, where acts like Nine Inch Nails and Marshmello are also scheduled to perform.

Led by frontman Kevin Shields, My Bloody Valentine shocked the music world back in 2013 when they released MBV, the long-awaited follow-up to their beloved 1991 album Loveless. The group hasn’t dropped any new music since then, but Shields recently revealed his intention to put out another record in 2018. Today’s announcement is sure to fuel speculation about the planned release as well as speculation about My Bloody Valentine’s 2018 touring plans (the group last performed in 2013).

For those of you who simply cannot wait for a larger tour announcement, advance tickets to Sonicmania are currently on sale for 12,000¥—or roughly $108. The festival will take place at Makuhari Messe, a convention center near Tokyo.
