Blue Note Records has released a new live album from the Robert Glasper-led R+R=Now, appropriately titled R+R=NOW Live.

The seven tracks on the album were captured during the final shows of Glasper’s month-long residency at Blue Note NYC in October 2018 when he played with his R+R=Now collective comprised of Terrace Martin (synthesizer/vocoder/alto saxophone), Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah (trumpet), Derrick Hodge (bass), Taylor McFerrin (synthesizer), and Justin Tyson (drums). R+R=NOW Live features the group’s intimate club performances of originals including “Respond”, “Been On My Mind”, “Change Of Tone”, “Resting Warrior”, and “Needed You Still” which featured a sit-in from Omari Hardwick, along with their jazz-inspired cover of Kendrick Lamar‘s “How Much A Dollar Cost”.
