Blue Note Records has shared the latest recording which will appear on a forthcoming posthumous Tony Allen album, There Is No End, due out later this month on April 30th.

Entitled, “Stumbling Down”, the new, hip-hop-inspired track released this past Friday features lead vocal work from Zambian-born Australian-based rapper Sampa The Great, and follows the previously-shared There Is No End track “Cosmosis”.

“Uncle Tony was involved in changing the way African Music was heard and felt, and he has constantly inspired me to learn and to expand my music,” Sampa said of Allen’s impact on her own music in a press statement.

Allen, who passed away at age 79 in April 2020, had been working on the unfinished album project when he suffered an aortic aneurysm, and the Afrobeat pioneer’s collaborators have since managed to help finish what he started.

Other guest musicians who will appear on the posthumous album when it arrives later this month include Tsunami, Nah Eeto, Koreatown Oddity, Lava La Rue, Danny Brown, and more.
