Bluebird Music Festival organizers have announced the lineup of artists to perform at this year’s in-person, two-day event, including Jeff Tweedy, Jade Bird, and Greensky Bluegrass mandolinist Paul Hoffman (billed as phoffman).

Other names featured on the initial 2021 lineup announcement on Tuesday included Rayland Baxter, Molly Tuttle, Willie Watson, Daniel Rodriguez, Otis Taylor, Trout Steak Revival, and Heavy Diamond Ring. The weekend festival will take place at the Macky Auditorium in Boulder, Colorado on September 25th- 26th.

The four separate sets stretched over two days (both Saturday and Sunday will include an afternoon and evening performance) will be ticketed separately or purchased as an all-weekend VIP pass. Ticket pricing runs from $29 to the all-weekend VIP pass for $199. A portion of ticket earnings will also go to benefit the Future Arts Foundation, a Colorado-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports youth arts programs and music events across the state.

“Though it seems like everything should be looking good by the fall, what we’ve learned is you never know,” organizers note in a statement on the festival website regarding potential in-person attendance. “If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, your ticket purchase will be refunded. If the event is permitted, but at a reduced capacity, those who purchased their tickets first will receive priority admission and all others will be refunded … The events will follow all public health protocols that may be put in place by the University of Colorado in the fall.”
