Bob Dylan‘s recent release of the complete version of The Basement Tapes has been one of the biggest stories (at least from a musical perspective) this year in the music industry. What went down in 1967 up in Woodstock with The Band playing behind him in the recording of 100+ songs, has gone down in history as one of the most epic stories in what has been an epic career for the man that many simply call “The Bard.”
A time-lapse video capturing the road that led to Woodstock for those storied recording sessions has surfaced on Dylan’s Facebook page, and is fittingly narrated by none other than The Dude, Jeff Bridges. Bridges gives the story of the journey from a hotel in Manhattan to The Big Pink, the famous house in Woodstock where the sessions took place. Check it out:
