All week long, LOCKN’ has been announcing new additions to their already-exciting lineup. On Monday, Antibalas, Blackberry Smoke, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Hiss Golden Messenger, Moonalice, The Record Company, and Sinkane were added to the bill. Tuesday’s announcement added John Fogerty. Yesterday, LOCKN’ added The Disco Biscuits to the list.

Today, Rolling Stone announced that Bob Weir will join Phil Lesh and The Family Band at LOCKN’ Festival to perform the Grateful Dead‘s classic 1977 album Terrapin Station in its entirety. Lesh was already set to return to LOCKN’ for the fifth year in a row, planning performances with both Phil Lesh and Friends and the Terrapin Family Band.

“Having Bobby and Phil perform Terrapin Station together is one of those moments that we created Lockn’ for,” festival promotor Peter Shapiro says in the Rolling Stone announcement. “I’m hoping it’s a musical experience that Deadheads will be able to lose themselves into and then live on as a live recording that will create lasting magic for a long time after.”

This incredible tribute joins an already stacked lineup featuring Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, The Avett Brothers, The String Cheese Incident, Umphrey’s McGee, Gov’t Mule, Moe., Greensky Bluegrass, John Butler Trio, Widespread Panic, Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, The Revivalists, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, TAUK, JJ Grey & Mofro, Eric Krasno Band, and more.
