The 60th annual Grammy Awards ceremony is going down tonight, returning to New York City for the first time in 15 years. In celebration of all the music industry heroes in town, there have been special events scattering the city to lead up to the grand finalé at Madison Square Garden. On Saturday night, Danny Clinch and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band teamed up for a night of music and photography at the McKittrick Hotel in benefit of The Preservation Hall Foundation and MusiCares. The PHJB wasted no time flexing their guests for the evening, welcoming Zac Brown and Brandi Carlile during the exciting set. At around 11:30pm, Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir stepped up for another surprise performance of “Iko Iko”, contributing vocals and his signature rhythm guitar to the classic New Orleans song.
