LOCKN’ has announced another live collaboration set to take place when the four-day music festival returns to Arrington, VA on August 22nd–25th. This time it’s Bob Weir who will join The Soul Rebels in sitting in with Steel Pulse during the British reggae outfit’s Sunday afternoon set.

Weir and The Soul Rebels are already part of Sunday’s artist lineup for this year’s event. Weir will take the stage alongside his Wolf Bros bandmates for their headlining set featuring Susan Tedeschi and Mikaela Davis later in the evening, while The Soul Rebels are scheduled to perform earlier in the day.

The new addition joins an already collaboration-heavy LOCKN’ 2019 lineup featuring two sets by Trey Anastasio Band (second set featuring Derek Trucks), two sets by Tedeschi Trucks Band (second set featuring Trey Anastasio), Twiddle with John Popper (Blues Traveler), Pigeons Playing Ping Pong with Cory Wong, and many more. LOCKN’ will also play host to a special Oteil Burbridge & Friends set, which will feature an all-star cast including Weir, Duane BettsMelvin SealsNeal CasalEric KrasnoJennifer HartswickNatalie Cressman, and Jay Lane.
