“The bad news is that everyone is a potential victim, but the good news is that everyone is a potential solution,” Bobi Wine says at the beginning of his new coronavirus PSA music video, “Corona Virus Alert”—which may just be the catchiest new song we’ve heard all month.

The Ugandan musician-turned-politician recently teamed up with Nubian Li for one of the best songs regarding the current coronavirus pandemic and the disease it causes, COVID-19. Wine employed east Africa’s rhumba melodies and a catchy hook in “Corona Virus Alert” to educate the people of his country, and the world, about personal hygiene and other coronavirus best practices.

“As we all unite to confront the Corona Virus pandemic, we decided to send this message through music and we hope it will encourage the many efforts to sensitize our people. May this edutainment brigten up your quarantine and please share so that the message reaches far and wide. UnitedAgainst#COVID19,” Wine said in a Facebook post upon the song’s release.

“Sensitise the masses to sanitise/Keep a social distance and quarantine,” he recommends with patois-infused lyrics before Li warns, “The corona virus is sweeping over mankind.” Throughout the video, the two offer important advice, like pleading for their countrymen to take the virus seriously, compelling them to regularly wash their hands, keep a safe social distance, and be aware of the various symptoms, in both English and one of Uganda’s several language dialects.

The duo also advised Uganda to remain patriotic, warned their people of the struggles Italy has faced and posited that “Prevention is better than cure.” Watch the video, which was recorded in-studio, below:
