Bon Iver takes viewers into the wonders of nature in a somewhat mysterious new teaser video shared by the folk-rock band on Tuesday.

The 64-second video was created by Aaron Anderson and Eric Timothy Carlson, and is filled with nature footage worthy of rivaling a Planet Earth commercial. Instrumental portions of Bon Iver’s music is heard throughout the clip, with parts of “Skinny Love” and “Holocene” gently playing in the background while a male voice reads out narration lines, “Bon Iver… Born of winter… Bloomed in Spring… Studdard shimmer in the summer… It might be autumn, it might be.” All the while, the timelapse and slow-motion footage of nature unfolds leading up to the final shots of autumn. The short video closes with the narration sending viewers off with saying, “Sincerity is forever in season.”

By attempting to put together the various subtle hints shared throughout the mysterious new video, fans could assume that there will be a new Bon Iver album out via Jagjaguwar sometime in the fall (autumn) possibly under the title, Sincerity Is Forever In Season, or something of that nature. While that may just be a presumption, fans already know that the band will head out on tour later this summer and into the fall months beginning on August 31st in Missoula, MT, and has already shared a few new recordings featuring frequent collaborator Bruce Hornsby.
