Bay Area-based musicians Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz and Reed Mathis announced that they’re taking their Bone Diggers project to the Rocky Mountains in late August. The project explores Paul Simon‘s vast catalog and greatest hits.
Lebo and Mathis will welcome an all-star cast for the upcoming run including Danny Eisenberg (The Mother Hips), Scott Rager (Tea Leaf Green), Jennifer Hartswick and James Casey (Trey Anastasio Band), and Jeff Franca (Thievery Corporation).
Bone Diggers will kick off their four-night run with a performance at Vail, CO’s Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater on August 27th, followed by a show at Boulder, CO’s Fox Theatre on August 28th. The band will then head to Denver, CO’s Cervantes‘ on August 29th before wrapping the brief run at Park City, UT’s The Cabin on August 30th. James Casey will only be joining the group for the Denver show.
