Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has dropped another “roo clue” offering a hint at the long-running event’s 2025 lineup.
The new clue includes a brief clip of a golfer identified as “Mich Lansing,” which commenters quickly interpreted as a reference to emo pop punk band Hot Mulligan, who hail from Lansing, Michigan. Others guessed Billy Strings, who was born in Lansing and has previously appeared at Bonnaroo as both a billed performer and a surprise special guest, though that seems like more of a stretch given his lack of connection to golfing. “Mulligan,” on the other hand, is a term commonly used in the sport.

This latest hint arrives after The Festive Owl posted a fresh leak alleging that French electronic duo Justice is also booked to play Bonnaroo 2025.
LEAK — I had to dig deep into my list of sources to get this one, but I finally struck some gold today.
Drumroll, please… 🥁 for the first time ever, the two Frenchmen everyone has asked for are finally headed to The Farm.
That’s right — Justice is playing Bonnaroo in 2025.

A previously posted roo clue featured a cryptic animation of an unsuspecting cow being abducted by an alien spaceship at 1:55 a.m. The caption posted with the video offered little help in deciphering the clue, simply reading, “roo clue #1 is here 
who do you think will join your 2025 lineup??”
Several commenters interpreted the video to be a reference to the song “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals, the lyrics to which mention “late nights in the middle of June.” Others took the hint to be a play on Tipper, presumably referring to cow tipping.
Glass Animals have performed a couple notable sets at Bonnaroo in recent years, including a standout performance in 2017. Their latest return to the farm was in 2022 after they were booked to play the fest in 2021, when the event was canceled due to flooding.
Tipper, who announced that his final performances would take place in 2025, was supposedly confirmed as one of the performers for Bonnaroo 2025 in a leak disseminated by The Festive Owl earlier this month.
