Borderland Music & Arts Festival will return to Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, NY September 18th and 19th, 2021 with a lineup headed by Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, The Revivalists, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, organizers announced on Wednesday.
Also on tap for the 2021 edition of the Buffalo-area festival are Moon Taxi, Hiss Golden Messenger, Cam, The Infamous Stringdusters, TAUK, Molly Tuttle, Neal Francis, The Ghost of Paul Revere, TK & The Holy Know-Nothings, Adia Victoria, a special set in collaboration with The Big Easy of Buffalo to present New Orleans staple John “Papa” Gros, and many more.
“We are beyond thrilled to be returning this year to Knox Farm and can’t wait to create another incredible experience for our loyal fans,” festival producer and owner Jennifer Brazil said in a statement. “We will have local vendors and artisans, a kids area and a Sunday football zone near our Homespun Stage where local bands will perform. You can always expect surprises with amazing national, regional and local musician collaborations.”
Things will come full circle as The Revivalists return to Borderland, where they headlined the inaugural edition in 2018.
“The Revivalists believed in our vision the first year of our festival and we thought it would be really special to have them back to celebrate the end of this long year. We can’t wait for them to bring that unparalleled energy back to our stage,” Brazil said. “We believe that if you set the right vibe and bring the bands who align with your vision, you will always knock it out of the park.”
