Boston’s Jerry Day is one of several special MLB events honoring the guitarist and the Grateful Dead. Last year saw Jerry celebrations hosted by the San Francisco Giants (Jerry’s favorite team), the Cincinnati Reds, and the New York Yankees. The Chicago Cubs also recently announced Grateful Dead Night at Wrigley Field, which will commemorate Dead & Company‘s Final Tour on May 23rd when the Cubs take on the New York Mets, weeks before Dead & Company plays at the historic ballpark on June 9th and 10th.
