Our favorite 12-year-old shredder Brandon “Taz” Niederauer will star in the Broadway adaptation of School of Rock this fall. The guitar prodigy who has played with everyone from George Porter Jr. to B.B. King to Lady Gaga will portray Zack in the highly anticipated musical, which begins previews November 9th.
Leading up to the big debut, the show has put out an innovative and interactive 360 degree music video that allows you to virtually put yourself in the classroom with the kids during the number “You’re In The Band”. The video mirrors the Broadway experience, allowing the audience’s gaze to focus on a variety of different things that are going on on the stage.
The play, produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, officially opens at the Winter Garden Theatre on December 6th. Get tickets here.
