Brittany Howard and her backing band were the featured musical guests on Tuesday’s episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden. The rock guitarist and singer delivered a performance of “Baby”, one of the originals from her 2019 Jaime solo album, in a darkened and empty performance space as various members of her band were seen wearing masks in the background.

Howard’s performance of the slow and groovy song was also accompanied by a brief virtual interview between the singer and Corden. Following immense praise from the late-night host to open the conversation, Howard shared some of her upcoming plans for the fall include a fishing trip and more weightlifting. Earlier this month, Howard shared a two-track EP featuring remixed recordings of songs that first appeared on Jaime, as produced by EarthGang and Bon Iver. EarthGang‘s remix of “Goat Head” was one of the songs featured on the September edition of the L4LM Monthly Mix playlist.
