This Thursday, November 10th, Water Collective will hold their 6th Annual Gala to support clean water efforts for communities in West Africa and India. Held at the Union Square Ballroom, the event will feature music by DJ Coco Robert (MTV, VH1), an open bar, refreshments and special indoor experiences, including a look at the progress the organization has made through a photo/art gallery of images around the world. You can purchase tickets here.

The event also has a silent auction planned, which has a number of exciting prizes. The Brooklyn Bowl recently contributed to the cause, offering up four tickets to any show as an item in the auction. Live For Live Music will also be donating two tickets to our Fool’s Paradise destination event in St. Augustine, FL next Spring and Brooklyn Comes Alive in Fall 2017, in addition to two tickets to any of our upcoming shows in NYC:

-Kitchen Dwellers at American Beauty 11/11
-Dumpstaphunk’s Phunksgiving Eve at American Beauty 11/23
-Jazz is PHSH at the Cutting Room 11/26
-Aqueous & Mungion at American Beauty 11/28
-Spafford & the Magic Beans at American Beauty 12/30 or 12/31

CEG Presents will also be offering tickets to over 50 of their upcoming shows in the NYC area, from Snarky Puppy to Marcus Kind Band. A full list of CEG offerings can be found at the bottom of this article.

These tickets are just a few of many exciting options, including tickets to Hamilton the Musical, tickets to a New York Knicks game, a trip for two to Belize, a private villa for 6 in the Dominican Republic, field level New York Mets seats and a signed baseball, a Flywheel Sports package, and more.

Water Collective is an international nonprofit that secures life-lasting clean water for rural communities in Africa and India. The organization was founded in 2011 to resolve the shortcomings of clean water access in the developing world, where 40% of water points are not working at any given time. 20-70% of installed handpumps in Sub-Saharan Africa are no longer functioning. In the estimated 1-4 billion people without safe drinking water, millions more have been stripped of a water source they used to have. In Africa alone it is estimated that in the past 20 years, 70 million people have lost access to safe water due to a failed source.

You can find out more about this important cause here, and access the auction to Brooklyn Bowl and Live For Live Music tickets, among the many other prizes, here.
