Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and More to Perform at NBC Hurricane Sandy Benefit

As has been widely reported, the East Coast has been devastated by the wrath of Hurricane Sandy this week. This Friday, NBC will present a telethon featuring some of today’s biggest stars with the intention of raising money for the American Red Cross to aid in relief of those affected by the hurricane. The special, which is titled ‘Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together’, will air commercial free at 8PM EST, on NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, USA, Bravo, E!, Style Network, and G4, as well as online at NBC.com, Today.com, and NBCNews.com.

NBC will bring together Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Sting, Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, and Jimmy Fallon for the event. It will be hosted by Matt Lauer and feature an appearance by Brian Williams.
