Recently, Bruce Springsteen released a new live album featuring his 1986 performance at the inaugural Bridge School Benefit Concert at Mountain View, CA’s Shoreline Amphitheater. Benefit concert co-founder Neil Young and his bandmates David Crosby, Graham Nash, and Stephen Stills joined Springsteen at the end of his performance for a memorable collaboration.
Held on October 13th, 1986, the performance marked Springsteen’s first acoustic performance in over 10 years. Springsteen opened up his Bridge School Benefit Concert set solo and ran through “You Can Look (But You Better Not Touch)” and “Born In The U.S.A.”.
Following the acoustic debut of “Born In The U.S.A.”, Springsteen welcomed up guitarist Nils Lofgren and accordionist Danny Federici to help play on “Seeds”, “Darlington County”, “Mansion On The Hill”, “Fire”, “Dancing In The Dark”, “Glory Days”, and “Follow That Dream”.
