Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi have appeared in a video advocating for the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund alongside celebrities like Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Whoopi Goldberg, Danny DeVito, Carli Lloyd, Charlie Puth, and Tammy Murphy, the state’s First Lady.
“New Jersey is banding together. Phil [Murphy] and I have asked some of our neighbors to join us in sharing this announcement,” Tammy said at the beginning of the video before Springsteen followed with, “These are uncertain times. What is for certain is the pain, the fear, and the real needs of many of our neighbors, our friends, and certainly all of those who are on the front lines of this pandemic.”
Stewart then posited that he hopes “Everyone is staying safe, staying inside, washing their hands a lot, self-distancing,” before joking that he normally lives his life like that anyways.
After DeVito, Springsteen, and Colbert spoke, Bon Jovi then exclaimed, “We are asking our state, New Jersey to band together” for the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund. Watch the entire video below:
