Bassist Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company, Allman Brothers Band, more) has announced a four-date run of “Oteil & Friends” performances along the west coast set for March and April.

The four-show run set to begin on March 31st will feature a loaded cast of musicians that includes Jeff Sipe (Aquarium Rescue Unit), Eric Krasno (Soulive), Scott Metzger (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead), Jason Crosby, Lamar Williams Jr (The New Mastersounds), Jennifer Harstwick (Trey Anastasio Band), James Casey (Trey Anastasio Band), percussionist Weedie Braimah, and vocalist Alfreda Gerald.

The newly announced Oteil & Friends 2020 spring run begins at Revolution Hall in Portland, OR (3/31) and continues with scheduled stops at Neptune in Seattle, WA (4/1); the McDonald Theatre in Eugene, OR (4/2); and finally The Warfield in San Francisco, CA (4/3).

In the midst of that newly announced west coast run, Oteil Burbridge will gather his Friends in Brooklyn, NY to headline the 2020 edition of Brooklyn Comes Alive at Avant Gardner on Saturday, March 21st. The Oteil & Friends lineup at Brooklyn Comes Alive will feature Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti (Dead & Company), Eric Krasno, Jason Crosby, Scott Metzger, John Kimock (Mike Gordon), Alfreda Gerald, Lamar Williams Jr., Weedie Braimah, Eric “Benny” Bloom (Lettuce), Ryan Zoidis (Lettuce), and Tom Guarana (Blood, Sweat and Tears).

Tuesday’s spring tour announcement comes just days ahead of a very special Oteil & Friends performance at the inaugural Denver Comes Alive at Denver, CO’s Mission Ballroom this Friday, January 31st, where the bassist will team up with organist Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), Eric Krasno, Scott Metzger, Jeff Sipe, Alfreda Gerald, and Weedie Braimah for a very special, “Mile High” performance.
