Caamp has released a new single “Fall, Fall, Fall” along with an accompanying video that stresses the importance of ecological conservation.
A notice at the beginning of the video for the song, which is not yet attached to any new album, reads “We dedicate this video to those who fight against climate change and racial injustice.” The music video was directed by Nate Murray at Local Motives, a non-profit organization that profiles naturalist organizations around the country including farmers, fisherman, and conservationists.

“Fall, Fall, Fall” features a soft, tender Caamp, in stark transition to the uptempo Americana sound that was formed in the barrooms of Athens, OH by founding members Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall. Rather, in “Fall, Fall, Fall” the group speaks of something terribly important, as videos of the people who profit off the land, while also respecting its many fruits, flash onscreen. Meier sings of a future that he can preserve for his children with the repeated chorus “I want my kids to swim in the creek.”
“‘Fall, Fall, Fall’ is a song about change – prescribe whatever meaning to that as fits your spirit, but for all of us, the main themes are racial and environmental injustices,” Meier said. “We just want more folks to hear this message, especially in these divisive and culturally tense times.”
