Carnegie Hall Performance To Pay Tribute to David Byrne and The Talking Heads

City Winery founder and former-Knitting Factory owner Michael Dorf has put on a tribute concert at Carnegie Hall for the past few years. Past tributes have focused on Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, and The Who. This year, The Music of David Byrne & The Talking Heads will be in the limelight, as Dorf recently announced that they will be the focus on the 2015 festivities.

While the lineup for the show has not been announced (and probably won’t be until January), the show is scheduled for Monday, March 23rd. The concert will raise money for music education programs serving underprivileged youth, according to the listing on the Carnegie Hall website.
