East Durham, NY will see the debut of the new music festival when Catskill Mountain Jubilee comes to town August 12th–14th. The weekend-long celebration will be headlined by Dark Star Orchestra, who will play four sets total. DSO has been busy even throughout the pandemic, touring this past spring at various drive-in and socially distanced venues, and will continue to tour into summer and fall.

Other major acts include Lotus, who is slated to play two sets over the weekend. Also appearing at Catskill Mountain Jubilee are Melvin Seals & JGB, Digable Planets, Circles Around The Sun, Boombox, Karina Rykman, Holly Bowling, Orchard Lounge, Talkpeck Soundsystem, Sophistafunk, Let’s Danza!, Lucid, Julia Govor, Beard O’ Bees, Tweed, Annie In The Water, Dogs In A Pile (two sets), The New Motif, Desolation Angels, Mike Greenfield (DJ Set), Mara, The Lousy Sloughters, Swimmer, Bad Leather, Doey Joey, and Freegrass Union. The festival will also feature sets from Woke With Jokes Standup Comedy, Cosmic Sirius: An Interactive Art Experience, and Sister Of The Sun & Cosmic Acrobats. 

After a long hiatus without music, The Catskill Mountain Jubilee unites a diverse cast of live music for fans of all types. Attendees can expect to have a great weekend of live music, art, comedy, and activities while taking advantage of the Blackthorne Resort amenities.
