The music world took a major hit when inspirational soul singer Charles Bradley succumbed to a long battle with cancer this past September. The Daptone Records singer found fame late in life, but was always a shining light of positivity throughout his life. Known as the “Screaming Eagle of Soul,” Charles Bradley was backed by His Extraordinaires, who toured with him for the last several years. In October of last year, the iconic musician announced that he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer and had canceled his tour dates, later returning to the road this past summer with an extensive tour. Earlier in September, Bradley was forced to cancel his upcoming tour dates after the cancer had spread to his liver.
