Nile Rodgers is a legendary musician. The man has revitalized his career in recent years, as he’s curating and headlining a music festival and releasing his first new album since 1992!

While Rodgers played at London’s Hyde Park the night before, the legend opted for a lower profile appearance that same morning, playing on the streets of the city’s South Bank neighborhood. No one noticed Rodgers at first, but as he continued to play, onlookers continued to gather. By 20 minutes, Rodgers had enticed a sizable crowd, and earned himself 20 bucks from the fans.

“I admit I was playing bossa nova music at first, so I [sic] being a bit deceptive,” said Rodgers on Twitter. You can watch footage from the street performance below:
