Chris Robinson Brotherhood has shared pro-shot video capturing a part of their performance at The Shed in Maryville, Tennessee back on May 24th.

The performance in Tennessee that night came just a few weeks after the band announced the sudden departure of keyboardist Adam MacDougall, and instead saw Pete Sears step in as his temporary replacement. Sears sounded right at home alongside his new bandmates as they performed “Rare Birds”, a lively, unreleased tune which is set to appear on the band’s forthcoming studio album, Servants of the Sun.

The new addition to his band’s lineup even seemed to fuel Robinson, who moved around the stage with an evident bounce in his step while taking breaks from belting out the lyrics. The nearly 10-minute performance featured a few impressive solos courtesy of guitarist Neal Casal beginning at the video’s 3:20 mark and again at 5:10.

The band canceled their scheduled appearance at this year’s LOCKN’ Festival following the initial announcement of MacDougall’s departure in early May.
