The young blues sensation Christone “Kingfish” Ingram brought his 662: Juke Joint Live tour to Fairfield, CT on Thursday night. Kingfish made this stop at The Warehouse at FTC (Fairfield Theatre Company) in support of his 2021 album, 662.

Ingram and his three-piece backing band spent a large part of the 14-song set pulling from 662, offering up the “She Calls Me Kingfish”, “Another Life Goes By”, “Too Young To Remember”, “Your Time Is Gonna Come”, “You’re Already Gone”, “Not Gonna Lie”, the title track, and his latest single, “Long Distance Woman“.  Midway through the set, Kingfish—who is nominated for two Grammys this year—delivered a solo acoustic rendition of “Something In The Dirt”, as well as “Been Here Before” from his 2019 self-titled album. The guitar and vocal prodigy also saved time for two covers during the evening, a take on Michael Burks‘ “Empty Promises” and The Leaves‘ “Hey Joe”.
