Circles Around The Sun was in Fort Collins earlier this week where the rock band hosted a trio of performances around Colorado with guitarist Scott Metzger leading up to New Year’s Eve on Tuesday. The band’s first of three performances took place at Fort Collins’ Aggie Theatre on Sunday, December 29th.

The band’s entire Sunday night performance was recorded by a taper, and has since been shared for fans who couldn’t make it to the Colorado shows to enjoy heading into the new year.

The performance that night included previous CATS releases with “On My Mind”, “Gilbert’s Groove”, “Scarlotta’s Magnolias”, and “When I was At Peace”, along with new originals set to appear on their forthcoming album with the recently-shared “Babyman”, and “Leaving (Rogue Lemon)”. Following a brief rest, the band returned to the stage to close their short encore performance of “One For Chuck”.

The band is off from the road for the next few months until they regroup for their scheduled appearance at 10 Mile Ride: A Deadhead Ski Trip on March 27th.

CATS’ self-titled studio album will arrive on March 13th, 2020. The new album marks the third full-length release from the fan-favorite act and features the final recordings of late founding member and guitarist, Neal Casal.
