The Claypool Lennon Delirium kept their run of Colorado shows throughout the weekend going strong with a performance at Denver’s Ogden Theatre on Saturday. Following Friday’s show at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue, CO the night prior, the rock band treated their Denver fans to a mix of new material in addition to a notable Primus cover on Saturday.
The band’s 17-song performance opened where if left off the night prior with a cover of Pink Floyd‘s “Astronomy Domine”, followed by a pair of originals in “Easily Charmed by Fools” and “Blood and Rockets: Movement I, Saga of Jack Parsons – Movement II Too the Moon, South of Reality”. Following a cover of King Crimson‘s “The Court of the Crimson King”, the set continued with performances of more originals including “Boriska”, “Amethyst Realm”, “Mr. Wright”, “Boomerang Baby”, and “Breath of a Salesman”.
The band’s cover of The Beatles‘ “Tomorrow Never Knows” anchored the second half of the show, followed by “Cricket and the Genie (Movement I, The Delirium)” and “Cricket and the Genie (Movement II, Oratorio Di Cricket)” to close the main set. The band returned to the stage for a two-song encore beginning with “Toady Man’s Hour” and closing with their rendition of Primus’ “Southbound Pachyderm”

The band will close its Colorado run and summer tour with a final performance at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO on Sunday.
