Since bringing in Chris Michetti on guitar last year, and with the fairly recent addition of KJ Sawka as their drummer, Conspirator has become more of a full-time gig than a Disco Biscuits side project for Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner. With a relentless tour schedule, a bevy of new songs, and a solidified lineup, the band is on fire as of late. Coming off successful summer and fall tours, and in lieu of recent events due to Hurricane Sandy, Conspirator is ready to give back to those that have been affected by the devastation that this super storm brought.
Conspirator will play a show in NYC to raise money for hurricane relief efforts in the devastated New York beach communities. 100% of the ticket price from the benefit show, which will take place at Club 39 on Wednesday, November 21, will be donated directly to relief efforts. Tickets are available here.
“Many of our fans are from the Long Beach area in Long Island, which was hit particularly hard by Hurricane Sandy”, says bass player Marc Brownstein. “The area is near and dear to my heart, as I am a homeowner and summer resident of the beach town. The recovery is going to be long and hard and we wanted to see if we could pitch in a little.”
Horizon Wireless will be opening the show. There will also be a silent auction at the show, and some special guests. Please join us, and start your Thanksgiving weekend out for a great cause!
