Cory Henry continues to build momentum towards his forthcoming studio album, Something To Say, due out later this month on October 30th via Culture Collective. The album marks his first full-length studio effort since his 2018 debut with The Funk Apostles, Art of Love.

On Friday, Henry shared the latest recording which will appear on the album entitled, “Don’t Forget”, following the previously-shared “Rise” and “Happy Days”. “Don’t Forget” hears Henry take listeners on a smooth ride through a 2:50 minute runtime of funky bliss.

“Time means nothing without change, so don’t waste it. Hate is fear that is not tamed so we keep trying, we keep trying every day,” Henry said of his new song in a press statement. “Please don’t forget what you’re living for and please don’t forget what you’re fighting for.”

To go with the song’s arrival on Friday, Henry also announced he and his Funk Apostles bandmates will host a virtual performance on Halloween night (10/31) as recorded from southern California’s Apogee Studios. The ticketed webcast event will begin at 6 p.m ET/3 p.m. PT, and tickets for virtual access to the show are available for purchase here. The studio performance marks Henry’s first concert with his bandmates since the shutdown of all live events back in March due to COVID-19.
