Keyboard virtuoso Cory Henry has shared a new live album, Operation Funk (Live). The album features his band, Funk Apostles, as well as special guests Kamasi Washington and Eric Gales.

The album is essentially a live version of Henry’s album Operation Funk from earlier this year, with a tracklist including many of the same songs, plus a few bonus tracks. The only song from Operation Funk missing from the live version is “Good Times”. The live album’s opening track, “Lead Ya”, is new, and a couple others, including “Happy Days” and “Rise”, are drawn from 2020’s Something to Say.
