The “intimate, extrasensory dance event series” Cosmic Opera returns to New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom for it’s second of three acts on April 5th and 6th. This Act, entitled Imbroglio, features superstar DJ Fedde Le Grand, along with support on each night by rising star Zedd. Additionally, Funkagenda will join the bill for the 5th, with Felix Cartal on the 6th.
The team behind Cosmic Opera hyped up the first act for months as a completely unique event featuring 360 degrees of visual stimulation, including acrobatics, dancers, theatrics, 3D mapping, and lasers – along with a story that would progress over each act. Most who attended the first event left with the feeling that it was not much different than the standard EDM concert experience. We can only hope that Cosmic Opera has been perfected for the second time around.
