Denver-based psychedelic fusion trio Cycles will take the live music experience to a whole new level with a first-ever interactive Game Show at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom on Saturday, October 19th.

Hosted by local Denver music aficionado Dennis Craig, fans will be able to showcase their competitive side alongside the band through 60-minutes of themed-interactive games and challenges for a whole new novel music entertainment experience.

“I’ve never been involved in anything like the Game Show. We basically came up with lofty, overly ambitious and absurd ideas and said, ‘We should totally do that on stage,’ and guess what? We’re totally doing that on stage. Pulling out all the stops and getting everyone involved for this one. The crowd is as much a part of Game Show as we are,” Cycles drummer Collin O’Brien said.

Emphasizing around the classic, retro television game shows, selected audience members will be able to spin the prize wheel with a different musical theme, which Cycles will play with coordinating themed music. Each theme will be associated with an action-based challenge that contestants from the crowd will be able to participate in.

“We’re gonna keep it light. Fans should expect a stage aesthetic of retro, game-show props and have a night of full crowd participation games, voting, individual competitions, toasts, cheers, unexpected quirks, surprises, and of course, traditional Cycles-fashioned comedy in the mix. It’s gonna be a lot of fun and a new novel form of entertainment for the fans,” host Craig said.

Following the game show, a winners ceremony will be held where all winners of each challenge are called up and given a prize, ranging from drink tickets, merch, and unique trinkets. One lucky winner will receive a six-month season pass to every show at Cervantes’. Attendees will have a short intermission featuring a drag queen beauty contest and will then end the night with a 90-minute classic Cycles set.
