Officially announced over the weekend, the new model acts as an updated design to the brand’s pre-existing Atlantic single-cutaway solid-body electric, and shines like the bright blue sky with a custom sonic blue finish to go with its satin chrome hardware. The latest model from D’Angelico, which also works with notable players like the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir, Hiatus Kaiyote’s Nai Palm, and more, is now available for players to purchase through both the company’s Premier and Deluxe Series. The Deluxe Brandon Niederauer Atlantic is available for $1,849, while the Premier version is listed for a more cost-friendly $999.

“I’ve always wanted a signature model, you know, it’s a kid’s dream, but I never thought it would happen this fast,” Niederauer said with the arrival of his new instrument.

The guitar was debuted during southern California’s annual NAMM Trade Show at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Niederauer has kept a busy schedule throughout the summer months, as the guitarist has been on tour with recent appearances at notable festivals including Great South Bay Music Festival, Mountain Jam, and Summer Camp Music Festival. The 16-year-old recently took his new signature model to Chicago’s Wrigley Field to deliver an electrifying rendition of the traditional pre-game “Star-Spangled Banner”.
