Dark Star Orchestra has had a huge year thus far with the celebration of the project’s 20th anniversary. Looking ahead to 2018, the trajectory shines a bright light for the band moving forward with the recent announcement of their Red Rocks debut. On the anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s famed Red Rocks performance on July 8th, 1978, Dark Star Orchestra will make their long-awaited debut at Red Rocks to recreate that legendary Grateful Dead’s performance exactly 40 years later.

Dark Star Orchestra To Debut At Red Rocks With Keller Williams, Honor GD Red Rocks Show 40 Years Later

As the band gears up for the most exciting show of their career, DSO’s ‘Road to Red Rocks’ will take the band back to their roots for the 7th annual Dark Star Jubilee Festival at Legend Valley Music Center in Thornville, Ohio. Happening Memorial Day weekend, May 25 -27, Dark Star Orchestra will headline all three nights of the Jubilee with full, two-set shows. Additional acts include Los Lobos, Hot Tuna (Electric & Acoustic), The Infamous Stringdusters, Melvin Seals & DSO performing a JGB set, The Nth Power, Rumpke Mountain Boys, California Kind, Jeff Mattson & Friends, The Lil’ Smokies, Holly Bowling, Dino English Quintet featuring James Poole, and Talking Dreads, with more to be announced.
