Dark Star Orchestra opened their two-night Labor Day Weekend run in the parking lot of Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, where they treated their Philadelphia fans to songs made famous by the Grateful Dead as part of Live Nation’s Live-In / Drive-In concert series. Saturday’s performance followed DSO’s Friday performance at the Roseland Drive-In in Canandaigua, NY as they, along with other acts within the jam scene, begin returning to playing in front of actual fans amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
