Dark Star Orchestra has announced their plans for the first leg of their 2019 fall tour. As the long-running Grateful Dead tribute act approaches 3000 career shows (the count currently sits at 2904), the band has detailed a run of fall dates beginning on September 26th at the Vic Theatre in Chicago.
The fall tour will continue with performances in Milwaukee, WI (9/27); Madison, WI (9/28); Minneapolis, MN (9/30); Bloomington, IN (10/2); Grand Rapids, MI (10/3); Cleveland, OH (10/4); Detroit, MI (10/5); Louisville, KY (10/7); Fort Wayne, IN (10/9); Indianapolis, IN (10/10); Columbus, OH (10/11); and Pittsburgh, PA (10/12).
The new fall dates come in addition to previously announced September shows at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO (9/6, 9/7) and at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO (9/8).
Upcoming summer highlights for Dark Star Orchestra include the two-day, mini-festival, the Dark Star Pisgah Jubilee, set to take place on August 16th & 17th at the Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, NC.
Tickets for the Dark Star Orchestra Fall Tour are available for most shows via the DSO fan club, with public on-sale beginning this Friday, July 12th.
