Today, long-running Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra announced their 2018 summer tour plans. The tour will take the band down the road to their highly significant Red Rocks debut and beyond. The new set of dates starts with an extended run through California in the week leading up to Red Rocks, followed by an east coast run featuring stops in New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, and Virginia.
As previously announced, the band’s July 8th Red Rocks show will mark various milestones, including their debut at the beloved natural amphitheater and the 40th anniversary–to the day–of the Grateful Dead‘s storied 1978 performance there, which Dark Star Orchestra will be recreating.
