In anticipation of his debut LP, Vitamin D, due out April 10th on Dim Mak Records, Rolling Stone has debuted bass fueled dubstep DJ Datsik’s new video, Evilution, featuring Infected Mushroom and Jonathan Davis. The video, which is an instant classic for the pure absurdity of it’s imagery in connection to the wobbles, glitches, and bass, feature Datsik and Infected Mushroom dressed as revenge fueled pinatas, destroying a maniacal Jonathan Davis….I guess you should just watch it.While catching up with Rolling Stone, Davis said of making the video, “Datsik and Infected Mushroom are both amazing and innovative artists that I have huge respect for, and I love working with them. This video was a ton of fun to make and it came out great in a very fucked up way”. I could not agree more. If this collaboration doesn’t exactly make sense to you, you should know that Datsik was one of a slew of dubstep producers who contributed to The Path of Totality, which is the latest album by Korn, Davis’ band. Datsik also opened for Korn during their fall tour dates.
