Dave Matthews Band‘s ongoing summer tour rolls into George, WA for a three-show Labor Day Weekend run at The Gorge Amphitheatre this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. While those in attendance will be thrilled to spend the long weekend with DMB in such a picturesque natural setting, fans will also be thrilled to learn that the band will sell a 5 LP live album package highlighting their 1998 performance at Philadelphia’s First Union Center.

The archival release will be that of the band’s performance at the Philadelphia venue back on November 30th, 1998, which took place just a few months following the release of their chart-topping studio album, Before These Crowded Streets. The package will include five black 180 gram vinyl, and will only be available to purchase on-site at The Gorge throughout the weekend.

The band’s first-ever performance at the First Union Center on 11/30/98 was one of two they’d play over a two-night stretch on November 30th and December 1st. The November 30th show featured an opening set from Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and included performances of “Satellite”, “Rapunzel”, “Don’t Drink the Water”, “Lie In Our Graves”, “Crush”, “Crash Into Me”, and the first live teases of “JTR”.

For their holiday weekend run at The Gorge this year, DMB will be joined in support by Lettuce, Gov’t Mule, and Hurray For The Riff Raff.

Tickets for the three shows are still available here.
