Dave Matthews Band was in Las Vegas, NV on Friday, where the band played host to its scheduled one-off performance in “Sin City” with a performance at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan. Friday’s show treated the band’s Vegas fans to a mix of songs from deep within the Dave Matthews songbook, including a trio of notable bust-outs including the revisit of a funk-rock classic.

With Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds back from their destination concert event in Mexico earlier this month which featured a surprise appearance from Phish’s Trey Anastasio, DMB tore into the start of Friday’s show with songs like “Granny”, “#41”, “What Would You Say”, and a notable bust-out of “The Riff” before diving into a two-song combination of  “Stolen Away on 55th & 3rd” into “Warehouse”. The set continued with “Why I Am” and “Jimi Thing”, and the latter continued right into a bust-out cover of “Tell me Something Good”, which marked their first time playing Rufus‘ 1974 hit since October 2005.

The band kept rocking through renditions of “What You Are” and “Come Tomorrow” before turning to another cover with their take on The Doobie Brothers‘ “Long Train Runnin'”. Watch the cover performance from Friday’s show in full below.
