Last week, Dave Matthews took time off from his summer tour recently to stop at the new SiriusXM studios in Los Angeles. There, the guitarist delivered an intimate performance for staff and subscribers of the satellite radio company. Now, SiriusXM has shared a pair of pro-shot videos showcasing Matthews’ performances of fan-favorite, “Crush”, and a more recent original, “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)”, from the session.

The video of the performance, which took place last Wednesday, September 11th, shows a solo Matthews delivering an impressive, stripped-down version of “Crush”. Other songs performed during the intimate set included “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” from Dave Matthews Band‘s latest studio album, 2018’s Come Tomorrow. The performance last Wednesday helped mark the recent extension of Dave Matthews Band Radio for another month. DMB Radio will now to air through October 15th. In addition to playing music from the Dave Matthews Band’s extensive career, including their studio hits, live songs, demo tracks, and musical influences, the channel features the “DMB Friday Night Concert Series,” which includes full-performance recordings from the band’s recent tour. The exclusive channel also hosts interviews with members of the band.

Dave Matthews Band’s 2019 tour will come to an end this weekend with the band’s appearance at Farm Aid at the recently-sold Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Elkhorn, WI on Saturday, September 21st. Fans who don’t attend the all-day fundraising event can tune in to the concert’s live video stream available via farmaid.org (beginning at 2 p.m. CST and at AXS TV (beginning at 6:30 p.m. CST).
