On April 20th, David Bowie’s Aladdin Sane will be reissued via Parlaphone on silver vinyl in honor of the album’s 45th anniversary. Aladdin Sane was released on April 13th, 1973, as Bowie’s sixth studio album, marking the legendary rock star’s follow-up to his breakthrough record, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

As noted in a press release, the 45th-anniversary edition of Aladdin Sane will only be available for sale in “brick and mortar” stores. However, the release of the remastered Aladdin Sane will come on the heels of the release of a remastered edition of CHANGESTWOBOWIE, Bowie’s 1981 compilation album, which is due to be released on CD, digital, and black and blue vinyl the week prior.
