The estate of David Bowie has announced the second of six installments as part of the Brilliant Live Adventures series, which will capture the late singer’s 1995 performance in Birmingham, England. The concert took place on December 13th at the National Exhibition Centre as part of the Big Twix Mix Show festival.

Available on November 20th via Parlophone Records, this installment follows the inaugural release of David Bowie Ouvrez Le Chien, which dropped last month. That concert also came from 1995 and captured the Starman’s performance at Starplex Amphitheater as part of the U.S. leg of his Outside tour in Dallas, TX October 13th, 1995.

Set to be released as No Trendy Réchauffé (Live Birmingham 95), this offering will be the first commercial release of the concert in full. Excerpts of the show, however, were filmed and aired by the BBC, and several performances from the concert—including “Moonage Daydream” and “Under Pressure”—were included on the Hallo Spaceboy CD in 1996.

The setlist for No Trendy Réchauffé jumps around throughout Bowie’s expansive catalog, with a predictable emphasis on his 1995 album Outside. Yet there are also vintage tracks such as “The Man Who Sold The World” and “Boys Keep Swinging”, in addition to the live cuts previously-released on Hallo Spaceboy. Speaking of that album, this concert actually includes two performances of the record’s title track. Originally, Bowie intended to release the latter version as a music video but never did. Later on, the track was remixed by the Pet Shop Boys as a single featuring an alternative promo video.

David Bowie’s No Trendy Réchauffé (Live Birmingham 95) is available for preorder on CD and a double LP vinyl set. The third installment of Brilliant Live Adventures is set to arrive before Christmas, with the final three coming in early 2021.
