Dead & Company are officially back in action! Last night, the Grateful Dead torch-holders played the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA after their two-night opening run at Madison Square Garden in New York City. On their day off between gigs in NYC, the band stopped by the historic Ed Sullivan Theater to perform as musical guests on CBS‘s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Dead & Company–comprised of original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart as well as John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti–were featured as The Late Show‘s musical guests for the show’s Thursday night broadcast with a pre-recorded performance, and will again be featured tonight.
