Rock duo Deap Vally have announced plans for their next studio album, and have shared its lead single featuring Warpaint bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg entitled, “Look Away”.
Released on Friday, the song will appear on the band’s forthcoming DIGITAL DREAM EP due out February 26th via Cooking Vinyl. “Look Away” slightly drifts from the band’s high-intensity fuzz-rock sound heard on their first few albums, and hears them deliver more of a deeper-sounding, dreamier listening experience with plenty of low-end courtesy of Lindberg.

The duo comprised of singer/guitarist Lindsey Troy and drummer Julie Edwards teamed up with Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips resulting in their Deap Lips album released in March 2020. The collaboration was named one of Live For Live Music‘s “Best Psychedelia Albums Of 2020.”
