DelFest will return to Cumberland, MD’s Allegany County Fairgrounds for their 12th-annual event, set to take place from May 23rd–26th, 2019.
Today, DelFest announced a series of separately ticketed late-night shows throughout the four-day event. On Thursday night, Billy Strings will play two sets, followed by Yonder Mountain String Band and the Larry Keep Experience on Friday night. Saturday night will feature late-night performances from Railroad Earth and Joe Craven & The Sometimers, and will conclude with a special “The DelFest Chaser” late-night with The Travelin’ McCourys with Sam Bush on Sunday night.
In addition to host acts The Del McCoury Band and The Travelin’ McCourys, the 2019 festival will feature performances from The String Cheese Incident, Trampled By Turtles, Railroad Earth, I’m With Her (featuring Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O’Donovan), The Marcus King Band, Billy Strings, Sierra Hill, The Gibson Brothers & Mockingbird Band, Dre & The Gospel Collective, and The Broomestix. Each of the late-night band’s will also play shows throughout the weekend.
